Hot-dip galvanizing: Also known as hot-dip zinc plating, this involves immersing steel in molten zinc to form a protective alloy layer on its surface.
Electro-galvanizing: Utilizing the principle of electrolysis, the sample, after degreasing and pickling, is placed in a zinc salt solution and connected to the negative electrode of the electrolysis equipment. A zinc plate is placed opposite the sample and connected to the positive electrode, causing Zn²⁺ in the electrolyte to nucleate and grow under the influence of potential, depositing onto the sample to form a zinc plating layer.
