Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets are widely used in various fields such as construction, home appliances, automobiles, agriculture, and transportation due to their **zinc layer protection, strong corrosion resistance, and moderate cost**. Different zinc layer thicknesses and surface treatments correspond to different applications, as detailed below:

I. Construction Industry (Largest user, accounting for over 50%)
Hot-dip galvanized steel sheets are well-suited for long-term outdoor use, making them a core choice for building steel structures and enclosure materials:

1. Enclosure Systems

- Fabrication of Color-Coated Substrates: Most color-coated steel sheets use hot-dip galvanized steel as their substrate. After coating, they are used for roofs, walls, and partitions in factories, warehouses, and steel-structured residential buildings, providing both corrosion resistance and aesthetics.

- Direct Use: Used for simple sheds, fences, and prefabricated house frames, requiring no additional coating and reducing construction costs.

2. Steel Structure Accessories

- Production of light steel keels, purlins, supports, connectors, etc., replacing traditional angle steel. They are lightweight, have excellent corrosion resistance, and extend the service life of buildings.

3. Municipal Engineering

Used for outdoor facilities such as city guardrails, streetlight poles, billboard supports, and drainage pipes, resistant to sun and rain, reducing maintenance frequency.

II. Home Appliance Industry
Hot-dip galvanized sheets with medium to low zinc coating thickness (60–120g/m²) have high surface smoothness, suitable for stamping and painting, and are mainly used for:

1. White appliance casings: Refrigerator, washing machine, and air conditioner housings and side panels; also used in some microwave oven casings.

2. Kitchen and bathroom appliance components: Water heater inner tank supports, range hood casings, disinfection cabinet frames, etc., resistant to humid environments.

3. Small appliance structural components: Oven casings, water dispenser frames, etc., balancing strength and rust prevention requirements.

III. Automotive Industry
The high strength and corrosion resistance of hot-dip galvanized sheets meet the requirements of automobile manufacturing, and are used in two categories:

1. Body chassis components: Vehicle frames, chassis beams, door inner panels, trunk floor plates, etc. These parts are in constant contact with mud and water, requiring high corrosion resistance. 2. Interior and Accessories: Seat frames, dashboard brackets, fuel tank brackets, etc., to prevent rust from affecting vehicle use.

Note: High-end models use electro-galvanized or hot-dip galvanized alloy sheets for the exterior panels, pursuing a finer surface and higher paint adhesion.

IV. Agriculture and Livestock Sector Suitable for the humid and corrosive environments of agricultural production, applications include:

1. Agricultural Machinery Parts: Harvester and tractor shells and frames, grain dryer cylinders and pipes.

2. Agricultural Facilities: Greenhouse frames, water troughs, roller shutter machine brackets, livestock fences, feed troughs, and partitions for livestock sheds.

V. Transportation and Warehousing Sector

1. Transportation Equipment: Container side panels, top panels, and bottom panels (must be made of high-zinc hot-dip galvanized sheet, zinc layer thickness ≥275g/m²), truck body panels, trailer guardrails, etc.

2. **Storage Equipment**: Shelving uprights, beams, pallets, warehouse partition netting, storage boxes, resistant to friction from stacked goods and the humid warehouse environment.

1. Hardware Products: Security doors, filing cabinets, toolboxes, bicycle frames, etc., balancing strength and rust prevention.
