However, many customers still tend to buy pre-galvanized steel pipes when they inquire about the purchase of galvanized square pipes. Not only because the price is cheap, but also because the use is not much different from hot-dip galvanized steel pipe on the basis of price.
However, it should be noted that if the wall thickness of the steel pipe you need has relatively high requirements, for example, the wall thickness is required to be more than 2.5mm. Then the steel pipe manufacturer will default that what you require is hot-dip galvanized steel pipe. This is because the galvanized strip, the raw material of pre-galvanized steel pipe, cannot achieve such wall thickness conditions.
That is to say, under the same conditions of use, people will use cheaper pre-galvanized steel pipes, and in special cases choose hot-dip galvanized steel pipes. The characteristics of these two kinds of galvanized steel pipes must be distinguished.
