In the early 1980s, my country successively introduced various types of scaffolding such as H frame scaffolding and bowl-buckle scaffolding from abroad. H frame scaffolding has also been widely used in many domestic projects and achieved good results. Due to the product quality problems of H frame scaffolding, this kind of scaffolding has not been widely promoted and applied. A number of H frame scaffolding factories have been built in China, and most of their products are processed according to the drawings of foreign investors. Bowl buckle scaffolding is the most widely used scaffold among the new scaffolds, but it is not widely used, and it is only used in some areas and some projects.
Since the 1990s, some domestic companies have introduced foreign technology and developed a variety of new types of scaffolding, such as pin-type scaffolding, CRAB modular scaffolding, disc scaffolding, square tower scaffolding, and various types of climbing scaffolding. As of 2013, there are more than 100 domestic professional scaffolding manufacturers, mainly in Wuxi, Guangzhou, Qingdao and other places. Technically speaking, my country’s scaffolding enterprises have the ability to process and produce various new types of scaffolding. However, the domestic market has not yet formed, and construction companies have insufficient knowledge of the new type of scaffolding.
With the emergence of a large number of modern large-scale construction systems in our country, fastener-type steel pipe scaffolding can no longer meet the needs of construction development. Vigorously developing and popularizing new scaffolding is a top priority. Practice has proved that the use of new scaffolding is not only safe and reliable in construction, and fast in assembly and disassembly, but also can reduce the amount of scaffolding steel by 33%, increase the efficiency of assembly and disassembly by more than two times, and reduce the construction cost significantly, and the construction site is civilized and tidy.
